Activism

The Queer Student Alliance is currently doing the following to raise awareness and promote the wellness of the LGBTQ+ community:

  • Participating in protests for women's rights
  • Participating in protests against the repeal of the DACA executive order
  • Writing letters to our senators and representatives both for the New Mexico legislature and the US Congress to make the needs of the community clear
  • Hosting clothing drives to benefit the Transgender Resource Center of New Mexico
